CAN I BELONG TO ONLY MY
COMPONENT? HOW MUCH ARE DUES?
No. You must belong to all of
the following organizations: ADHA, IDHA, and your local
component. Dues rates vary from component to component.
New members are encouraged to
attend local component meetings and to network with
experienced colleagues outside the work setting. Membership
provides united voices representing the future interests of
hygienists, and protection of the dental hygiene profession.

WHO DECIDES MY LOCAL DENTAL
HYGIENE COMPONENT?
ADHA assigns you to the
component in which you live. You may request membership in the
component where you work or live. This may be accomplished by
contacting ADHA Member Services at
member.services@adha.net
or call 1-800-243-ADHA. You will need to provide your
membership number, “old” component and “new” component.
