Indiana Dental Hygienists' Association

November 2, 2009

Dear Valued Member,

The Indiana State Board of Dentistry withdrew its original notice of intent to adopt the rule for HB1172 due to the time restraints of completing the rule making process. The Director of the Indiana State Board of Dentistry, Cindy Vaught, indicated that a new Notice of Intent to Adopt a Rule is to be filed. As such, a public hearing date has not yet been set but the hearing will likely happen in the spring. We will keep you posted on any further information as we receive it.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. I may be reached via email at mandyarvin@hotmail.com.

Sincerely,
Mandy M. Arvin, LDH, BGS
IDHA Legislative Chair
