IDHA Scholarship Award (Nominations due by February 15 of each year.)

Award Criteria as of September 2008
The Indiana Dental Hygienists’ Association Scholarships are awarded to full-time students (11-12 credit hours) at the associate, baccalaureate and master’s degree levels. General eligibility requirements are as follows:

  1. Have completed a minimum of one semester in and IU or USI dental hygiene program.

  2. Have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) for the time enrolled in the IU or USI dental hygiene program.

  3. Have TWO recommendations: one from the director, supervisor, or faculty member of the dental hygiene program in which the applicant is enrolled; one from an individual outside the university. Recommendations should indicate the applicant’s potential for success as a dental hygiene student who meets the ADHA Code of Ethics and represents the attributes of a dental health professional.

  4. Complete and submit the application form by the deadline.
